GKN Walterscheid is exhibiting innovations in the area of attachment and drive technology

Numerous innovations in almost all business areas – from drive technology to tractor attachment systems – are the main attraction of the exhibition presentation:

This increase in the maintenance interval has been achieved by numerous detail improvements for the components of the GKN Walterscheid drive shafts. Thus, optimised drive shaft components such as, for example, improved cross seals and hardened profile tubes with special scrapers are now used.

A new basic lubrication with high performance lubricants is now used in all drive shafts.

The longer maintenance intervals have also been checked and confirmed in extensive laboratory and field tests.

There are also innovations in the range of services of GKN Walterscheid. The company is presenting a total of three new service tools for use in larger agricultural machinery workshops.

With the new Power-Tool SW 40, GKN Walterscheid is now providing a recently developed special tool for the fast and particularly safe installation of telescopic sections for drive shafts. It solves the problems which previously occurred during the mounting or removal of drive shafts for repair.

The new SW 41 assembly tool makes possible simple joint removal and mounting.

GKN Walterscheid is providing a recently developed torque tester for drive shafts under the name of SW 42. The functionality can be reliably and conveniently checked with this during repairs, reassembly or adjustment.

GKN Walterscheid has now developed a Category 4 hydraulic top link with hook and 120 mm piston diameter specially for use with heavy-duty tractors.

The new hydraulic top link is available with two different strokes (252 mm / 183 mm) which produce adjustment ranges of 765-1017 mm and 704-887 mm. Almost all commonly used tractors can be equipped due to the many available fork heads.  

GKN Walterscheid is also presenting the new Power Carrier to the industry specialists for the first time.

This is a new attachment system for the flexible use of work equipment which is attached in the standard three-point hydraulic linkage. The Power Carrier makes it possible for the first time to also combine attachments with larger work equipment very easily and irrespective of manufacturer.
